  • Think about it for a second...an unknown source of mineral power that grows beyond it's own capability to hold itself upright, crashes down to wherever it stops and continues on it's path. It is unwittingly growing and destroying everything in it's wake, non intelligent life that has no conscience or apathy. It doesn’t know right from wrong or why it's even here. The characters are fighting for their very lives and trying to find a way to stop this monolith from moving even further. Too cool...

  • This movie scared the shit outta me when I was a kid...I especially remember the little girl, though I can't remember if she 'turned to stone' or not...

  • I find it an interesting premise---

  • Giant rocks that suck the water out of the surrounding area then break and fall on things or people? Well, at least Lola Albright looks great.

  • I used to watch the early show and once a week they would have movies like this one, The Deadly Mantis, The Mole People, The Back Scorpion, Them, and a few others. Great stuff.

  • I love these old "B" Movies.

  • This was the scariest sci-fi film I saw as a kid on TV in the 1960s..

  • @snake...your missin the concept...its not about stones invading...its about what they do to people.....its not a bad 50s sci fi movie...

  • there was a movie similar to this but in color that involved a translucent blue rock material that reacted to water, I really need to find this movie title, anyone know of it?

  • The Most Startling Science Fiction Concept ever brought to the screen: giant killer rocks, I don't know what's lamer the Giant Bunny Rabbits in Night of the Lepus or Earth being invaded by rocks

  • this looks like SpaceGodzilla's crystals!
