  • I am curious to know whether the joists used for the Timbersil mockup where the same as the other display or if they were of a fire treated product also. It seems interesting that the fire that appeared the same size below the joists completely stopped after about a minute.

  • Yes, the entire TimberSIL mockup was built out of TimberSIL glass-wood. The reason the fire below stopped was because the TimberSIL glass wood did not ignite, and the dry bush eventually burnt out. Each display was given an equal amount of fuel, dry brush on the ground and charcoal and gas in the fire trough.
