I had this prolapsed (herniated) disk for almost 20 years. My doctor here in Germany told me to go to the Alpha Klinik in Munich to get the disk removed with endoscopic tools. This is far less dangerous than going in through the back with an open surgery. I was up and walking as soon as the anesthesia wore off.

Dr Hooglans is a gret Doctor, besides the disk surgery. I learned more about slipped disks in the few days I was in Munich than I did in over 15 years. Incredible.

  • @7thsound7th WOW! LSI quoted me $22,500-$30,000 for the whole procedure.

  • @ptz3572 how did your operation go? What did you have done? I'm have a disk herniation between L4 and L5. I'm thinking of having it done.

  • Oh...i just got surgery same as this video last week, mine was critical as i can't sit down properly, standing straight and even sleep as the disk pushing my spinal nerve as a result of very pain at my right leg....the surgery cost about USD8000 which i can buy a second hand car...huhu

  • I'd kill to go to Munich to yank my 2 evil shrimps out - but I have no money...... although I DO need surgery.....

  • its inside the ass of a chiken ?

  • Wait.. Maybe it is real. But what exactly is the cotton like stuff inside? O_O

  • I think he is.. I think this is jujst a demonstration of the procedure with a dummy or something.

  • Crazy, it looks like he's plucking cotton out of your back!

  • Thanks for posting this. I had my surgery in 2002 and always wondered what they actually did. Unfortunately I am getting ready to have another surgery. My issues appear to be chronic.
