I'm having a problem previewing my movie in the Share module. My chapters are there but when I click on the remote control nothing happens. Also the auto chapter feature does not work. Whenever I use it the program freezes. I'm running VideoStudio Pro X2 on a HP laptop that I bought last year. I thought working with AVCHD files might be the problem until I created a project using mpeg files. The result was the same with mpeg files. Could you please help me if you get a chance. Thanks.

when i want to click in preferences.. display DV timecode on Preview Window, it says me:
You must have a video mixing renderer compatible display card to use this option if your display card is not vmr compatible, you may experience playback problems
and i do have playback problems! when i record my voice over a video, the audio of the video (when im recording) sounds really bad, i don't know what to do!!! please help me =(
can you do anything like adobe after effects in this, how do you create landscapes and moving backgrounds

Not really. You can do simple things, you can make "animated backgrounds" if you think out-of-the-box. However don't try to compare this to After Effects, which is much more expensive, thus having more capabilities.
VideoStudio is a nice, easy to use, simple video editing program.

Around 53 sec in the video, how would you draw lines of the yellow rectangle? Also, the transparent maker and the red arrow with the text "NEW"? Thanks!

This is done using the new Video Paint feature. I'm using a Wacom Intuos 3 to draw the lines, and write. It's really a neat feature.

can u make the background move in a run cycle?
SwiftSilver23 2 years ago
You would need to add several copies of the background clip to the timeline. With videos there is no provision for "looping" if that's what you mean by run a cycle...
