This is what I hate on America. The USA is investng billions in weapons and war but too little for education. Almost every 3rd american student drops out from school when he is 16 years old. And the educational system is also unnormal: While the students in elementary schools get to much and sometimes to havy learning matter or even to early (like all 3 natural sciences from 4th grade for exaple) the students in High School even in the AP-courses in fact are learning to little.

High School is not only really important in education, but they can be some of the best years of your life. I'm 18 years old and a Senior in high school. Sure i don't do perfect academically.. But i haven't given up like some of the sorry excuses in the comments. Dropping out will not only make you look like an idiot.. But it will deprive you of many many memories. You guys should actually contribute to society.. This is why in a few years i will be moving back to my home country.

Is dropping out really worth it..? Many dropouts will end up being some kid getting a hold of a gun and joining a gang. Most "gangsters" are all uneducated dropouts who make NO contribution to society. The way i see it, they're all a waste of space and air. And don't give me that bullshit saying "Oh well maybe i'll get lucky and become one of those "famous" high school drop outs" If you're stupid enough to take your chances with that good luck. You're missing out on alot of things in High School

@TailsBit I dropped out and when I was 15 and I'm not worried. Though. I will never know what it's like to go to high school because I live in an area where 9th grade is Jr.High. But it's all good. I have a job that's not mcdonalds or toilet scrubber. I do data entry and I'm planning on being a process server.

@popnxanies Excuse me, im 13 and have nothing but time! So sorry, I get straight A's and excell in volleyball, softball, basketball, and track and I'm only 4'6". Sorry I wrote those things a year ago. I do not regret it, but I think we shall end this discussion and leave it behind. Have a good life Sir/Ma'am.
