The opening of this show doesn't even make sense. It doesn't follow the show at all.

Boy, so much that doesn't make sense here. Definitely going to have to watch the GoLion version.
Most of all, though, I wish they'd had Alura calling the shots for Voltron this time.

Around minute 9 the plot gets twisted a lot. It was Sincline's/Lotor's decision to kill all those who thought about rebelling against their empire and team up with the Alliance formed by the princess (and his henchmen took down about 42 leaders), Daibazaal/Zarkon only congratulated him for the job.

6:53 "You're more concerned about her than I am right?" I think its obvious that Keith cares more about Allura than anything else right now. Besides, Voltron maybe considered "Defender of the Universe," but its the ones piloting the robot who are doing the real fighting.

Yeah, he's lucky to be alive. Sincline/Lotor was known for being a killer. That hit should have killed him. Love the damage that Golion shows.
