rice~ i agree with you. that was ONE thing i liked about mcain. after being in the senate for more then 20 yrs the man had never taken ONE earmark. he was against the bush tax cuts because they were not supported by spending cuts as well. many conservatives were ticked at him for that. i agree with you. but now we have the professional spenders in power. you can not support THAT if you were upset about republican spending. this spending concerns everyone! pubes and dems alike should be concerned

It's not going to be regulating everything it touches. That would cost too much. What this package is going to do is contruction jobs and goes to states who can use it to keep teachers and less the impact on most state's budget crisis. The only thing civilians see is tax cuts which we will start seeing in April with a little higher pay check. How is a tax break a bad thing? The government is only spending around 400 bill and the rest are tax cuts.

democrats borrow from communist, republicans are just out to make the rich richer. god, cant a single person in politics earn his own money from hard work, and rise to become president? oh wait, that was only george washington. excuse me. no im not a hippy, not an envirolmentalist conspriracy theory hippy. im just not sure what side to choose.

This is old but I just saw it. Honey, I'm not a student and even if I was that wouldn't automatically mean I hadn't worked in the "real world" or knew what it was to worry about the future, so your inaccurate assumptions can stop any old time.

What rights am I giving away? I thought some were already taken away during the Bush administration. Your the one right now Bitching about Obama and what he's doing. Why don't you leave and start a country in which there can be no change and start wars with any country you feel like that day cause I'm tired of that.

Republicans are NOT the party of NO, generally speaking - that's idiotic!
However, the Republican is the party of... NO to reckless, out of control spending, NO to higher taxes and they are coming, NO to tripiling the size of government,
NO to government dependency,
NO to bad policies and
NO more bailouts!
These are ALL bad things for our country and for the future economy!
GET IT???

i agree with you... you can't claim the fiscal highground when you are spending like a democrat. however, yeah, we knew obama was going to spend...but did we know he was going to spend more then every single administration combined? from the start of this country to now!
how can you support that kind of spending? do you really trust the gov with your money?
