My Help with Total Praise by Jackie Gouche Farris. Taken during Pastor John Mahaffey's Induction Service at West Highland Baptist Church. Combined Morningstar Christian Fellwoship and West Highland Baptist Church Orchestra and Choir. Soloist: Carol Lebert and Guy Mortimer.

I will lift up mine eyes to the hills
From whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
The Lord which made heaven and earth.

He said, He would not suffer thy foot,
Thy foot to be moved.
The Lord which keepeth thee,
He will not slumber nor sleep.

Oh the Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy shade
Upon thy right hand, upon thy right hand.
No the sun shall not spite thee by day,
Nor the moon by night.
He shall preserve thy soul, even forevermore.

My help, my help, my help,
All of my help cometh from the Lord.

You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to You

Lift up mine eyes unto the hills
Lift up mine eyes
He is my strength
All of my help cometh from the Lord
My help, my help, my help,
all of my help cometh from the Lord.

  • Wow that was really beautiful. I absolutely love this song and am dying to learn it, but is nearly impossible to find.Would it be too much to ask if you could reshoot this from a diffrent angle and by yourself without a band? I'm not asking for a step by step tutorial, just to where we can all see the full spectrum...Please?

  • LOL. Thanks for the comment, I'm not laughing at you.. It's just that I spent about 20 hours practicing it by myself. If you include orchestra rehearsals, you can up that number ot another 5 probably. ^_^ It's a really beautiful song, but there's a price to pay for such beauty.

  • Oh and on that note, I can still play hte song, but I would probably need a good 5 hours of practicing to get it back up to the level I of this performance, which is more than a year ago now.

  • ^_^ it's the only way possible, unfortunately.. it's even worse when it's at my church, because the band has in-ear monitor, so you don't hear them at all, just hte piano..

  • hey can u post a tutorial for this song i really wanna learn to play it.thnx.

  • LOL sorry, that would be impossible. This song took me 20+ hours to learn the first time i played it... another 10+ to learn the second.
