Senna was the best driver. Senna was the rain master. Senna was the Monaco master. 6th time winner in Monaco. He even won with this crap Lotus in 1987. Schumacher won only 2 times even he had always Ross Brawn made the best cars. Schumacher is not even close that standard. Senna's ambiotion into F1 was so high that he sacrifise his own life for that.

sorry man Senna was like a kid, always complaining and arguing with everyone, he's fast, but not too fast. He had passion for pole position to show how fast he is, he kept forgetting about the fuel tactics and was loosing races. Shumy is smart, he's a proper racer. Shumy's got the edge, check again. Analyse better :)

You have to say that during his time, Schumacher was the best in the sport (in the Ferrari period), but I reckon if he had lived in a different era, someone like Coulthard could've become WC. In the early partnership between himself and Mika, ('98 for example) a lot of the times he was beating his team mate, but team orders, and other bad luck allowed Mika to become double world champ. I have a lot of respect for David. He undoubtedly raced against the best, and at times came out on top.

Kids, all I can say, Piquet is enough to humiliate MS watch?v=VCOpOQ50uoY (In 1990, with the crap Benetton B190, won 2 races, ahead of the 2 Ferraris (best car of '90 with Prost and Mansell), the McLaren (Berger) and the 2 Williams (Boutsen and Patrese) and finished 3rd on the championship. @Talaramama Senna had the heart and the passion ! Schumacher the precision ... Both were awesome drivers. But I still think Schumacher is better ( not because Im German ). It's because he was the only one who was able to keep up with Senna with the manual gearbox. ( in a weaker car ). He has done incredible things , he doesn't have to proof anymore.

@BarneveldDarts Statistically Shcumarcher is better yes, to watch i prefer senna especially in the turbo era. i grew up watching schumi and i think he is a fantastic driver as i think senna, prost, mansell, gilles all amazing to watch. personally i rather senna. but right now in 2011 i'm routing for schumarcher. he deserves to win he reset the standards for modern f1 drivers. both are/were spectacular to watch. forget about stats they only determine a winner in a season....nothing else
