It came to pass between the hours of twelve and one
in that night, that a great impetuous wind
beat against the house
it surrounded the house so completely
that it seemed to want to raze the house to the ground
and to destroy everything.
Upstairs the students started to despair;
they sprang out of their beds
and started to comfort each other;
