Uh, This PSA was pretty violent and gory so aren't they being kinda hypocritical?
-
No, it's to keep television from being overloaded with violence, blood, and unnecessary gore!

The featured actor from "An American Werewolf in London" is Griffin Dunne, not David Naughton.

This is scary

For some reason I find the beginning hillarious where he goes, "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooodnight." Also, Hannibal Lector sounds like he's about to puke. -
The PSA probably put more fear into children than anything else on TV.

I can't understand the words for the majority of the song. All I know is that I would probably crap my pants if I was a kid and those creepy voices sang a lullaby to me. I used to get extremely creeped out by all PSA's, so I'm really glad that didn't come on TV where I live. I would have needed years of therapy.

I've learned that whenever you hear the lullaby in a PSA, change the channel ASAP.

The dying soldier is an actual clip from Saving Private Ryan. It's in the opening sequence when they arrive in Normandy. As for the first ???, correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't help but think that it's from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Ditto on the 3rd ??? after "Texa Chainsaw", which is "The Shining" again.
