Cymraeg - Welsh

I've done Kernewek (Cornish), Albannach (Scots Gaelic) and Manninagh (Manx Gaelic) so I thought it was time to do my national language of Cymraeg (Welsh). Surely I should have done this fisrt ;) - I care too much. I do believe I've done a post on Cymraeg before but I may be wrong!

@indigodingobongo You're wrong. There was Anglo-Saxon first, which was transfirmed into Olde English. The Anglo-Saxon was affected by the Romans. They came up with place names like Manchester and Winchester. (from the Latin 'castra', meaning 'camp') They Romanised the Celtic Britons.

And it was because of the Cambrian mountains that Cymraeg wasn't bastardised as much; Wales was isolated.

@tristan01101 'Penis?' You should've came up with something better. Real Dutch is spoken by 16 million Dutch people. Flemish is spoken by over 6 million people.

P.S. Welsh people aren't to be less proud of their language because there are not that many people who speak it.

@xXRAINbooowXx I never suggested that I believed Dutch would 'take over'. I was mainly kidding, but the ratio of Welsh speakers to Dutch speakers favors the Dutch side. Under 1 million speak Welsh, whereas over 22 million speak Dutch. You don't have to be such a penis, love. That comment was 2 years old anyway.
