Biography:
Quincy Coe Pondexter (born March 10, 1988) is an American basketball player for the New Orleans Hornets. He was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 26th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and then traded to the New Orleans Hornets. He played high school basketball in Fresno, California at San Joaquin Memorial High School where his father Roscoe and uncle Clifton Pondexter were All-American basketball players themselves and continued their basketball skills at the professional levels. At the end of his senior season at the University of Washington, Quincy Pondexter was named an All-American Honorable mention by the Associated Press. Pondexter is the nephew of former Chicago Bulls player Cliff Pondexter.
