Hm, a pity. Because one thing I liked the most about the Smartgun in the movie was the varied sound.
Same reason I don't like the Aliens Vs Predator 3 Smartgun. The sound is always the same and sounds like an M60.

@DGneoseeker1 I did notice the samething when I first saw the films and played the games. Both weapons go high, low, high low in tone as they heat up and cool down. On my FO3 mod, I tried splicing two M41A files together. But, lol. Everytime I pulled the trigger the whole entire spliced wav sound would play. So, now I just use a single movie tone. There is a SG mod, but due to it heating up so much, the modder made it not so durable after tons of combat. Both are like the real weapons. I love em

Hm. It seems it's actually due to the sound of the smartgun varying. It sounds different each time it's fired. At one of those times it does sound a lot more like the M41A.

@DGneoseeker1 Before you shout the typical "fail" respond, take a min. and download the actual movie weapons sounds of the M41A and the M56. They have VERY similar sounds. Without knowing and jumping on the flame wagon...you "fail".

The M41A and the M56 SG had similar sounds...due to the Electronic pulse firing mechanisms. Listen to the sounds of the weapons, via a Aliens RAW sound download. I added the movie sounds to the smargun and my Pulse Rifle. Sounds like the movie weapons now. Textures are topshelf, also.
