Do your research before you make yourself sound stupid. Deep frying a turkey is NOT unhealthy, it just sounds like it is. As for tasting just as good as baking it, a baked turkey comes nowhere close to a fried turkey. 99% of the time a baked turkey is so dry you have to douse it with gravy to enjoy it. With deep frying a turkey it cooks it so fast that it sears the skin and keeps all the moisture inside and is NOT greasy at all. Once you've had one, you'll never EVER go back. LOL

why is it an "American thing" to cook food in oil? They cook most their food in oil in Spain and parts of Latin America.
