@AdmLeviathan - You noticed... Bachmann Branchline realised that we want model trains rather than toy trains long before it occurred to Hornby.

Good old Bernie,I used to love these ads when they were out(never shown as often as we'd liked).I guess his appearance in the Railway Children was a factor to him being featured in these..........

Living here in the US, the Bachmann US products suck. I was like "Whats the big deal of Bachmann > Hornby" so I ordered some more British stuff from Bachmann.

I have that locomotive that Bernard is riding, i got it for christmas. The set originaly came with a flexi disk, I have uploaded the audio, if anyone is interested.
