@pbellsund Thank you so much for your answers. I will visit Oslo, Flåm and Bergen in July, Yeah, I already heard that its raining 360 days/year in Bergen, but it's okay. ;) I will definitely take the Flåm Line, thank you for that.

@Mathiiazh I suggest you do the Flåm line detour if you want some good scenery. Takes you 40 minutes from Myrdal station, and maybe do a night stopover in Flåm, quite famous cruise port, very quiet place... May is generally sunny, but a bit on the cold side. Less crowded though and you'd definately see snow (lots!) that early. June-August are usually good. Remember, western Norway's got Atlantic climate, so if you don't see any rain at all during your travels, you are one of the chosen ones!

@Mathiiazh You'll still find some snow in June but only at very high altitudes... In this video the highest point (Finse) is at 1.222 meters, so maybe you'll see some there. If you wanna ski you can all summer at glaciers @ Stryn or Folgefonna. In regular service the trains have short stops so you shouldn't leave the car in order to avoid delays for the other travellers...

Nice video. I've 3 questions:
1. is there snow in june too?
2. how long does the train stop?can i take pictures?
3. when is the best time to take the train? I know its difficult to say when the weather will be good, but i dont wanna have rain the whole time :( is june or july a good time??

NSB is still a "rustical" railway company with still lots of wooden pilons that carry the wire over the track. I guess they are still from the beginning electrification 45 years ago

You should have removed all the black-out pauses, or whatever it is. Otherwise, it's good.

The 'blackout pauses' are tunnels, and a big part of Bergensbanen.
Imagine watching that in realtime. A lot did when the documentary was showed on Norwegian televsion.
