WithoutYou. [53.] 'stop flirting.'

I wished that I could have forgot for longer, but I just had to pull away. I just looked down and shook my head slowly.
'Joe, can you please just leave.' I murmured, with my eyes still shut.
It was silent for a while.
'I love you Indie. Just.. remember that. Please.' he said.
I heard his footsteps move away and the door close.
'Ugh.' I groaned.
I tried to get my mind of things by unpacking. My clothes had been finally dropped off last night whilst I was at the concert. I hauled the boxes into my room and opened the closets. Sitting at the top of the box was my sweatshirt. The matching ones that Joe and I had. Seeing it brought back so many memories.

-Joe's POV.

I knew that she still loved me. I just had to regain her trust back. No matter what it took, I was going to do it. I walked through our front door after walking back from Indie's apartment. I stepped into the living room, everyone was staring at me. My Mom was on the couch with her head in her hands, my Dad had his arm around her, Frankie next to him. Kevin was pacing until I came in and Nick and Eva were just looking worried.
'Who died?' I asked, trying to be smart.
My Mom stood up. 'We thought you did Joe! Where have you been all night?'
'Where's Indie?!' Eva piped in.
'Guys.. just calm down, I'm okay, Indie's okay. I was at her apartment last night.' I said.
I sighed, thinking of last night, when she put her arms around me in her sleep.
'Are you guys..' Eva said.
I just shook my head. We'd only been apart 3 days and it was killing me. It was like that for the next two months.

-Two months later.
-Indie's POV.

A lot had happened in two months. I turned eighteen for one, Kevin and Eva became an official couple, not to the public of course and Joe and were still apart. He had moved on. He was with Camilla now; obviously fed up with trying to win me back. Whenever I saw him, he was so cold towards me, so I gave him back the same. I was the one who wanted to be friends, but wouldn't take it. Camilla was a nice girl, she just didn't seem right for Joe. She was totally unaware of mine and Joe's 'situation'. Eva, Demi, Nick, Kevin and I were so close. We all knew that Joe had changed, changed for the worse that was. He wasn't the same anymore, not the fun, stupid, crazy Joe. Kevin tried to tell him, but all he said was 'I'm just growing up Kev. Deal with it.' But the worst thing was, I felt partly responsible for it. Who knows what would have happened if we were still together, maybe he would be the same person he was two months ago.
Tonight, Nick and Kevin were taking Eva and I out to the wrap party for the Disney Channel Games. Obviously nearly every Disney star would be there. Each was allowed a plus one; Kevin's was Eva, I was Nick's and Joe's was.. yup, you guessed it.. Camilla. Demi was going to be there too, her little sister as her plus one; I was so stoked.
[All the outfits are in the videoo.. I was doing it quickly.. if i had more time, i woulda done it a little better.]
The boys walked the carpet along with Demi and all the other stars and Eva and I went the back way like usual. The party was amazing, the nightclub was perfect. There was a bar (non-alcholic obviously), a lounge and of course the main event.. the dance floor.
Nick introduced me to so many people; Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Emily Osment, Moises Arias, Mitchel Musso and a lot, lot more. We all busted a few moves on the dancfloor even if we did look stupid. Once the cameras stopped rolling for all the promotional stuff, people began to dance with eachother. Nick asked me to dance, so we did. It was so much fun. A little while later, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was David Henrie, he asked me to dance. ME! Nick told me to go ahead and he left. The song changed, to a slow one.
'Well this is convenient.' he said with a smile.
I held out my hand. 'I'm Indie.'
'David.' he said and kissed my hand.
He took my hands and placed them on his own shoulders, then he put his hands on my waist.
'Why haven't I seen you before?' he said over the music.
'Oh, I'm not an actress or anything. I'm friends of Nick, Kevin and Demi.' I smiled.
'Not Joe?' he asked.
'Uh, its complicated.' I said.
'Oh, okay then. Well, I think that.. um, you're the prettiest girl here tonight.' he said.
I blushed, 'Thank you.'
'Maybe, we could do this another time, maybe like over lunch or something.' he said.
'That would be nice.' I said.
'So.. tomor-' he began, but stopped suddenly.
I looked over my shoulder to where his gaze was. It was Joe.
'Mind if I cut in?' he said.
'Actually yes.' David and I said at the same time.
But Joe had already pushed David out of the way.
'Sorry.' I mouthed to David.
He smiled back and handed me a piece of paper. He waved goodbye and Joe stared him down. Joe tried to slow dance with me, I went along with it, not wanting to cause a scene.
'Stop flirting.' he growled.
