Singing Solenoids 2

The last piece that I put in the photocopier test fixture. I was too busy to finish this one. The 4 solenoids are being controlled by 3 separate boards. Each voice is written separately, and they are synchronized over the CAN bus. The solenoid that plays the base line, loses hold on the shaft when it is playing really low frequency notes. This is because it is only operating at 25% duty cycle, and the off time exceeds the time constant of the spring.

I moved the camera around so that you could see where the solenoids are located. The volume of the corresponding voice changes depending on the camera position.

Anyway, it was lots of fun, and I hope that you enjoy it. This photocopier also had 3 other songs in it.
