  • Isn't it ironic that after nearly an entire life of no other thought than that of what happens in front of him on a chessboard, Fischer died at the age of 64? Which is of course the number of squares on a chessboard.

  • Fischer genius, Spassky gentleman.

  • Fischer was so good he didn't have to show up for the 2nd game.

  • Fischer complained about noise and cameras too close - which is perhaps fair.

It was the Russians that went psycho and had the chairs X-rayed etc - not Fischer.

  • @mjbeaz : Definitely not ironic, which means happening in the OPPOSITE way one would expect, and thereby causing humor.

  • @goonie50 Of course you will. The man's dead and won't be able to move.

When he was alive, he could spot you a Rook in a speed/bullet game and mate you in under 20 moves.

  • @mjbeaz That's a coincidence, and not irony. Ironic is that after turning his back on the world of chess, he died at 64.

  • Put the clock on em, I'll tear his ass up...put speed in the game I'll chew his ass out.

  • why did they say after 20 years?

  • I've seen circumcised people's dry, small, insensitive penises.
