  • jdsthebest, how much weight is she lifting here?

  • 40lbs (18.1Kg) for sets of 8 reps but she's not maxing out. In the video she says the max she's done is 60lbs (27Kg)!!! Not bad for a little Dutch girl.

  • Yes not bad at all. I am a 180 lbs. man & I can curl 40 lbs for 8 reps & I don't even work out much. But 60 lbs. would definately be too much for me so much respects to Johanna for that!!

  • Yes - but remember she's a pretty little 5'4 135lbs girl - so even 40lbs is very impressive considering.

  • It's hard to believe but this workout was shot in 2004. She's been training hard and improving continuously since then.
