@swiftomatik Good luck with that R&T Code 2502. Taxes may be paid in legal tender or in money receivable in payment of taxes by the United States. The tax collector shall have the right to refuse the payment in coins of property taxes, penalties and interest, and any other charges associated with the payment of property taxes.

no but paying the Federal Tax is illegal and there is not law that says that you must pay the federal tax goes to the federal reserve a independent bank that has nothing to do with the government, but you have to pay for them for using our money and then charge us interest on it ....no property tax goes for School county hospitals ect that help American with no health coverage and low income families...

Whomever the politician is in this video, he has no right to ask a citizen to count money to the cashier. It is her job to do it. But I would rather enjoy counting it out, one dollar per ten seconds, and force them to stay after hours. Fucking govt.

you would probably need a fork lift

because people have been paying taxes in pennies a long time, and if you listen to enough of the stories on the radio, you know thats what they make you do. They do it if the roll is short they can contact you. Also paying 4000$ in property taxes in pennies weighs 2205lbs -- good luck getting that around...

how do you know that?

secured party ftw

I agree it is stupidity to hassle the cashiers there. They need to create their own bill stating the citizens of this state don't want to pay property taxes....the answer they will create another way to get it. I guess there's always ....Canada!
paying any bill does NOT include counting out your money for someone, that's the clerks job.. when's the last time you saw someone in line in front of you paying in $1's and counting outloud 1 dollar, 2 dollar, 3 dollars, etc.. I would have said "here, I paid you now count it so you know I paid you enough.." simple..
