Chesa Boudin is remarkable & I've had the pleasure of not only reading this book (which was captivating, descriptive & made me feel like I was witnessing the events through his words) but I've had the pleasure of meeting him & having a brief but delightful & enlightening conversation. I'm in my 40's & usually find it challenging to converse w/ teens/young adults as the times & technology create divides between each generation, but Chesa is very mature & respectful which made our chat memorable.

@banditcoots This young man is not a jerk. You know NOTHING about him other than a few facts about him. You have no idea how he was raided...but that isn't your point. Your point is to trash him because you have this platform to do so. Chesa has four parents (Cathy & David who birthed him & Bill & Bernadine who raised him) and they are all very intellectual & loving people despite your lack of knowledge of them. You are narrow minded, classist, racist and just plain ignorant!

Don't be fooled by this Ivy Leauge sounding jerk-his guardians were Weather Underground members in the 60s-Bill Ayers. His real parents are even worse garbage being responsible for the deaths of two cops and one guard in the 1981 New York Brinks robbery. He has stated in the past that he supports the fight of his parents in today's world. These people want to overthrow the U.S. Government and they support Marxist and Communist beliefs. Your Dad is going to die in jail. Long live America.
