Slakoth becomes Slaking. Its stats are in the same tier as legendaries. especially its physical attack - it's not too good with special defence, though. As for watering, unless you plant in a rainy area, you need to water plants to get them to grow, I think. Might also get more berries for good watering. Chesto is handy for anything that has Rest.
