This is great for people who don't draw but want to express an idea, but I can see a lot of people calling themselves comic artists are using this. That'd piss me off. Or maybe it getting out of hand and there's a huge amount of people using this or similar programs to do it. This is a great tool for quickly plotting layouts and composition, sure, but hopefully people won't continue stomping out 2D illustration and try to use this entirely.

so can we draw our own model and put it in?

Don't if I ask, but when do you think they will release an english version of this? Please answer my question or at the very least give me an estimate or guess. Thank you for your time and also nice video! :)

@ishmael1991 No argument there. The old fashion way will always be superior.

@Chocopyro I guess when you put it like that, it isn't totally lame, but i still beleive someone who was passionate about creating manga, wouldn't want to use artwork which 1000000s of other people could just create in exactly the same way in minutes. I think using it as a base point/virtual mannequin to start off with your characters would be far better, and would mean the characters would still be unique to your story. Thanks and Good luck to you too

@ishmael1991 You actually have the same idea I have. I'm working on a visual novel using RPG Maker VX, and I was going to use this for character sprites.
And I don't see using this for creating manga as lame. Lots of great artists are bad story tellers. Lots of great story tellers are bad artists. If anything, for a writer working with an artist, this is a godsend. Its easier for the artist to interperate the writer's idea when he can just put it down himself visually.
Good luck on your vn!

So can you create your own characters? i'd hate to use the pre made ones...

@aoyuku Yeah yesterday i was saying if i had the connections i would make a programme which used 3d anime models and then used filters to make them appear like 2d drawings. Then i just saw this and realised it is literally exactly my idea. The programme even looks how i pictured it. If you just want to create manga then it is cheating and kinda lame, but im gna use it to create characters for a visual novel ive already written and produced lots of the music for. Can't wait for uk release!

It would be nice to have a 3D replica of my own character to use as a reference guide for drawing difficult poses. I've tried to construct one, but my 3D modeling skills aren't very good.
is there any English translation of it? . .
i cant understand the whole program . .

@merylleanne There isn't yet. It is in planning, however.

i had the same idea about this, but then i learn how hard it is the make manga. it's cheating, but a good way to show a story without writing novel.
aoyuku 1 year ago
@aoyuku Yeah, it's for those that just don't have the skills in drawing. If they're good enough their story using this will be read and enjoyed :).

Imagine how this actually might change the whole Work for Mangaka themselves oö
They could import patterns or their models and work with that so they´ld have less work with coming up with a release.
Neat Idea

@michaelmita Yeah. Apparently artists can submit their work to get a 3D model made specifically for them. So yep, it can help them release faster.
