  • this is such a powerful piece of music

  • Oh God, there is hope for this world - I see Houston area kids talking about this wonderful music! YAY!

  • Music for Prague 1968 was Husa in his genius prime. Incredibly challenging piece to put together - but oh so worth it. It can only be truly experienced live. There are only a handful of wind ensembles and conductors that can do the piece justice. The inspiration for the piece was powerfully tragic, but equally powerful was the art the came from Husa's pen.

  • Ah, this was definitely an influential piece for me. It was this and Quartet for the End of Time that really changed my mind about contemporary music!
