It has been predicted that the area of Nad-e Ali will soon be handed over to the Afghan Security Forces because of the significant security progress that's been made in the area. This progress is also demonstrated by the fantastic relationship between the British soldiers in the area and the local Afghans. This week they received a special invitation to attend an Eid celebration as part of the Islamic festival, and cooked a goat to celebrate.
