As requested, this is an update on my personal carry knife. Being left handed, a left handed friendly knife was what I was after. Also, being a small knife carry type, I decided to try a larger knife and to switch from my right pocket to my left. This video is of my findings and is for Bladeimm. Here's to a speedy recovery my friend.

  • Wow brother! I am so honored - never expected a response or followup much less a video! You really hit the madness on the head - "adapting to the point of no return." LOLO! Thank you so much man. You made my day. Why'd you switch the clip back to right? You are still carrying it in the left? I'll PM you about the rest. Thanks again Zippo. Your friendship means a lot right now my friend.

  • I moved the clip back to right carry so the lanyard hole was to the left and out of the way. I carried it for a couple days with the clip on left but I kept catching the lanyard on things. I.E. Seatbelt, closing it in kitchen drawers etc. The third time I was yanked back or the knife pulled out of my pocket I knew I had to alter things a bit. I'm glad you liked the video Blade!! Sent you a PM my friend.

  • I thought i saw you were a lefty like me, Its why I spent the cash on a L handed Benelli shotgun, no more powder burns on the face from my remington 1187. We have issues righties dont understand, cheers.

  • Hi Chad...yep...and our Leftie stuff typically runs at least half again as much because of all the retooling. Thanks for the comment!

  • Cool little knives. Right now I'm carrying an L.L. Bean knife that is small enough to fit on my keyring. It isn't good for much more than cutting string though. Just more of a novelty, but pretty sharp. I carry a bigger one when I think I may need it.

  • I've got a little Spyderco on my keyring that gets used all the time and it's the second smallest knife I own. The only time the SOG XL comes out of my pocket is if the cutting job is too big for the little Spyder.

  • just got this knife!! it is a little gritty on the open how was yours and is there a easy fix? thanks!

  • yes we left handed people do live in a right handed world lol. great vid Sean 5/5

  • Thanks for the vids, love your collections! 5*

  • Did you get the 20 or 12 gauge Montefelto? About how much more was the left model?

  • That's hilarious man. I've heard this suggestion before. Maybe I ought to look into it further to stay in "the game."

  • I get that but a pump kicks my shoulders to bad so its semi auto all the way. I do love my lil Montefeltro though, great gun. Nice and light carryin it in the bush and my righty buds realize what ive gone through shootin a wrong handed gun when they fire it. Well worth the money and I bought it for the same $ as a lefty Remington but its way lighter.

  • Nice stuff man. I'm not left handed, but it makes no sense to me why making it left handed should be any different that making it right handed. Just my opinion!!
