A Sleety windy Easter Monday at Aldermaston

My footage of the demonstration at Aldermaston Weapons Establishment celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original CND march in 1958. We arrived just after the speakers had moved on to the next gate but we probably knew what they were gonna say anyway. We listed to the choir and then ringed the base and Graham hung Fiona's bird in a tree that grows inside the base. Hey ho it makes you feel good to be out in the wind and sleet with your comrades and friends.

I was there too! Great experience!Met great people,mostly from older generations who went on same march 50y before.And when we were leaving they told me:We are glad that young people care about this issue and glad they act on what they believe is right!

AND PEACE IS A VALUE, ALDERMASTON IS MONEY MAKING BY KILLING PROJECT!

This kinds of establishments should be prohibited by law!

i was there in about 1990 with a load of basingstoke punk/travellers the fence came down and the police line was a broken .what were they trying to stop us seeing? and up the road you have the secretive burghfield underground now what is that?
