Join us as we visit Sharon Orchards, in Sharon Springs NY, to press a dozen bushels of BEEKMAN 1802 windfall apples.

Apple cider has a long history in this part of N.Y. state. In fact N.Y. state's official nickname is "the Empire State," named after its native Empire apple variety.

Many local orchards offer pressing services for home-grown apples. Cider keeps for months if frozen. (And even longer if fermented into vinegar or hard cider.)

Watch the video for more helpful apple cider facts.
