Selfmade autonomous car using LEGO Mindstorms, programmed in Java using LeJOS firmware on NXT Brick. The Truck is controlled by PC via Bluetooth. The two ultrasonic sensors in front of the Vehicle are scanning the environment through 360 degrees. *please vote / add comments*

    If I let rotate the sensors faster the environment-mapping is getting worst, because of given sensor-delay and low scan-rate. Sure without 360° scanning you can realize faster robots but this is not challenging
