Where do you have to place your speakers according to your audio system?
Very simple: Just take a look at this video and enjoy the music!!!
This animation was made with ElicaLogo.
Logo? Yes!!! The old turtle with new 3D skills. It's so funny!!!

Music used in this video doesn't belong to me:

1955 - THE FOUR ACES - Love is a Many Splendored Thing.
1963 - THE BEATLES - This Boy.
1977 - KRAFTWERK - The Hall of the Mirrors.
2007 - NORAH JONES - Sinkin' Soon.

I used the last song to all the surround audio systems because YouTube doesn't let any kind of audio but standard stereo sound so... there would be no difference between them (However, the original audio IS surround sound).

  • Mmm...

I'm not sure about that, because it doesn't matter how many low frecuency speakers you use, almost all of the systems have only one low frecuency channel, so...

By the way, the interesting thing is: the surround encoders don't limit that extra channel to the low frecuencies range. It is a decoder issue. So, that extra channel should be a full range channel, if somebody could change the decoders behaviour.
