Tried to speedrun this little bastard. Failed a few times, but it was worth it.
For those of you who got stuck on the combination door (I know I did) Here's a little trick to get around it.
In order to bypass that door you need to read the four corners of the room which you're in (But first you have to try to open the door). Afterwards when you read the corners you will see some Mambo-Jambo about bottom right + top right, etc.
So, here's how I figured it out:
I took a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down each corner as a separate "unknown" number.
Top left was - X
Bottom left was - Y
Top right was - Z
Bottom right was - A
So, each corner had its own instructions:
Top left = Bottom right + Top right - which I translated to X = A + Z
Bottom left = Bottom right - Top left - which I translated to Y = A - X
Top right = Bottom left x(multiplied by) 666 - which I translated to Z = Y x 666
Bottom right = 6 - which I translated to A = 6.
So here's how I planted it:
X = A + Z, but A = 6, so
X = 6 + Z, but Z = Y x 666, so
X = 6 + (Y x 666), but Y = A - X (replacing A with 6 for the next row), so
X = 6 + [(6 - X)x 666], so then I used some logic. First X MUST be a 1-digit number, no matter what. Second, I thought - If X = 6, then 6 - 6 multiplied by 666 = 0 and 6 + 0 = 6.
Which automatically placed the other numbers perfectly:
Y = A - X ( 6 - 6 = 0 )
Z = Y x 666 ( 0 x 666 = 0 )
So the combination result is:
X Y Z A
6 0 0 6
