Emmanuel Reinert, Executive Director of The Senlis Council, talks to CNN just after the Taliban attack in November 2007 which killed more than 73 people including school children.
The attack took place just outside Afghanistan's capital city, Kabul.
During the interview, Mr Reinert addresses the current security situation in Afghanistan and the ever-growing Taliban insurgency threat to both Afghanistan's security forces and NATO's ISAF forces.
The insurgents have stepped up their attack frequency and rely more and more on suicide bombings. At the same time, NATO's aerial bombing campaigns cause too many civilian deaths, alienating the Afghan population and decreasing support for our stabilization mission.
