@1Hom3slice1 You obviously haven't seen the entire video. The grid that he's referring to is mentioned in the second part of the video and can be used to draw any face.

@iDraw3G You don't use a grid to draw a live portrait. This is for drawing the average human face. No one is average, so therefore you wouldn't use this method.

To all of you who rely on grids to draw a portrait, I have a question for you: How do you use this method to draw a live model? I mean, what are you going to do when your girlfriend comes over and sees all the drawings you've done using a grid and asks if she can sit for a portrait? Tell her, "Uh, sorry I don't really know how to draw..."

I "love" how some poeple are critisizing thisguy for SHOWING one way of drawing! He said in the begineing that "some" methoudes show this way of teaching... This is why I like You Tube so much. There are people that like to knock someone else's work, yet they themselves do nothing! If you don't like it then don't watch! I think he is a great teacher in the way he explains things.
