  • He was in my class at school

His dad owned a BMW garage called crossflags

  • @ratzinator1

1 year later he comes back in good shape and finishes third still driving

  • 2004 24 hours of Le Mans - 1.5 hours into the race - oil on the rack at Porsche curves - 2 Champion Audi slides off and stuck there, 8 Veloqx Audi of McNish goes head first into the barriers - 2 continues after a few minutes - the crazy Scot, barely awake, head injuries and bruises included, manages the injured 8 Audi 1 mi to pits at 10 mph on 3 wheels, car's f'ed up, and collapsed as he got out - concussion I think - that's heroic, crazy, dedicated, unbelievable!

    I'll never forget it ever

  • this Scot is one crazy son of a gun; I remember him racing with Audi Sport Team Veloqx in 2004. Jesus, that 24 Hours of Le Mans was wicked in the beginning. If anyone can manhandle a car with 25% strength in their body, it's Allan. Here's what happened. 1.5 Hours into the race, some oil is left on the track at the Porsche curves. #2 Champion Audi slides off track.
