I'm sorry to whoever made this, as I can see they took the time to put it together, but this "trailer" totally cheapens the actual reading experience of what truly is a great piece of literature. It's a little upsetting. This makes the book seem silly. And the music? wtf....

Scantilly clad girls, farm life in South Africa set to generic Caribbean music?, black man labourer smiling, black men looking scary, images of violence, dead dogs. sunrise: David Lurie learns his lesson? I hope this wasn't done by educated people. That would be truly worrying. What a waste of time, but I guess that's what happens when you searc for coetzee around here. Film is only usednowadays to turn everything into pornography.

This is as stupid as it gets. In order to be an interesting reader, you have to be an interesting person, and clearly this guys (or this person) are (is) painfully uninteresting. More than that: a flat out MORON.
