Climate Change is a problem we face as an international community. Every Leader has to do his or her part, but first they have to recognize it.

  • Really, that's their first choice, talk about a miss quote. And if you compare what Ignatieff and Britain were targetting compared to Rona you'd get my drift. Also, if Harper had such a good plan why change it, fire Ambrose, and copy the Liberals?

  • So you think it's a "declining science"?

  • No I think it's a science; an established science. It's not new, it's over 60 years old. But you're right my grandpa is an "emerging senior"

  • This is just one quote, do want:

    "Kyoto is irrelevent"

    "so-called Greenhouse gases"

Those are the ones just off the top of my head.

  • Harper on the Environment??? This Government is so BIG on environmental issues it has frozen the budget of the Canadian Wildlife Service at a time when climate change is detrimental to already endangered species. I guess once again if we don't see it there is no problem, after all Polar Bears can't vote eh, Mr.Harper.

  • The risk of climate change is very real and we urgently have to find and implement real practical solutions, without following the Green lemmings over the precipice into a fascisto-socialist 'utopia'. Democracy is always the best solution.

  • Harper reminds me of Mr Conservative in Communist Pingu. He represents one extreme - the climate change deniers. At the other end are the Greens who are so far left they sometimes circumnavigate the planet and pop up on the far right. Are your Greens insane ideologues like ours in Australia? The leader of our Greens appeared on national TV supporting Robert Mugabe and his mad socio-economic policies.

  • The Toronto Star is nothing more than a partisan paper. I wouldn't take it to heart. Read the Globe and Mail. They actually tell both sides of the story.

  • Has any one checked Harper for a pulse lately?

I know his Government smells bad, and if you look closely he is starting to bloat. LOL

  • the united states isn't in the kyoto accord, so they have NO reductions under that treaty. and china is a FASCIST COUNTRY! it serves only the interests pf the rich, much like the states, and the rich don't care about their greandkids, besides, america has to reduce its oil consumption because when it runs out their economy will pretty much collapse. so its in EVERYBODY'S interest. and scientest are much smarter than republican party hacks, so lets not take their word for it.

  • why do the polititions love global warming?

because they can raise taxes and no one complains lol.

    you suckers!

  • as morquliorc said plus its a fashion and propergated by the polititions who want power but dont believe it either. if the public thought the jews were the cause of all evil and were outraged, the goverments would exterminate them all, doesnt make it right. public dogma.

  • global warming is a natural thing, just like ice ages, 50 years ago scientists said we were going to die from a ice age
