@mojado1996 also, it ads more torque to your punch when you twist it just before you hit your target. That's actually the main reason why you twist it when you strike.

@mojado1996 I think that the reason why one should twist the fist, apart from extra power, is that it can offer more defence from the shoulder from the arm you are punching, not a big difference from a untwisted punch but still quite effective in protecting your chin. Also, it just seems more natural when you're training in Boxing/Kickboxing sports to twist it, especially when you have a glove as big as your head in your hand.

@JahnosSardonis Not really. Without twisting your fist there is more power. There is no law of physics that proof that so you are wrong. A straight punch has less friction than a twisted punch. Therefore, the acceleration is greater. Force=Mass times Acceleration so there would be more force in a straight punch,

All I can say is that the 30 day no worried trial. Cost me hundreds $164 so it's not exactly worry free, if they really believed in there product they would give you a full refund shipping costs too. The product itself is okay it's not worth the $469 maybe 200, the head had and torso pads are made well and so are the focus pads. But the base is not made that well, its flimsy.Your going to need about 300 pouds of sand to hold down.The DVD where poor quality

@raxe30 Point taken. But the twist does give you and extra bit of power, that amount that you just need to knock the guy out, in a ring of course, whilst on the street you should, I think, clinch and knee him on the nads. The rest just goes downhill for him after that =P

@chispygato - BAS IS EQUIPPED FOR LOW KICKS!!! --- BAS is fully adjustable and customizable! You can set the focus pads anywhere on the stand and add additional focus pads for both high kicks and low kicks!
