@MrChucktbags Funny how its the chiefs helmet and the chief is a paid Technician in DC... And for the rest of you that don't know DCFD does a 24 on 24 off 24 on 72 off shift... I know of a few people that do their 24 on at pg 24 off at 33 24 back at dcfd then go to wherever they are from for their 72... So put that on for size....

@excap these guys are BADASS. Just cause they do stuff different does'nt make your way any better. In my book untill fire takes a more passive approach on destroying life and property, Firefighters EVERYWHERE should get just as aggressive as it does!

TO EVERYONE! It doesnt matter career or Volunteer, paid on call, whatever. A firefighter is a firefighter all I see on youtube videos is "Oh there volunteer they dont know anything" or "oh they r career they sit on their asses" It doesnt matter a firefighter is gunna have the guy in front of theirs back no matter what .

break it down.. lets say they have 1000 calls +/- a month...and lets say 31 days a month..give them a extra couple.. thats appx 32 calls a day divided by 6 stations... so each st goes out 5 times. (in general)
