rashid khalidi was in the madrid conference. he was a negotiator for the plo. they assume that means something. and the comment about arafat--ok and? arafat was the legit leader of the pa according to oslo. again? just insinuation--show me irrefutable evidence not based on suggestion and generalization (which is equally applicable to both the American and Israeli side) that has any merit. please go ahead.

this is totally disgusting. Khalidi is a great man. Had anyone chased me with cameras and bullying like that they would have been lucky to get a way unscathed. Hannity is a monster and a scar on America.

He is indeed a great scholar on the Middle East. Any President should be proud to have such a knowedgable and experienced academic as Kahlidi as an advisor.
Perhaps if Bush and the Neocons had actually listened to someone who knew what they were talking about maybe they wouldn't have made such obvious and stupid mistakes in their foreign policy.

Professor Khalidi is actually a really good scholar and if people who claim to be knowledgeable about the subject really studied the scholarship on the subject, they wouldn't be asking who he is.
