Is there something else you could use other than PVC which contains much BPA's?

@YouTubzie we share your concerns about BPA. that is why we use PET, not PVC. PET is food safe and does not contain BPA.

If you had a valve at the base of the system that could be actuated from the outside, it would prevent the risk of damaging plants when taking the lid off during the switch from top drip to aeroponic, or perhaps a side access hatch would be good.

Those black and yellow tubs will leak out the sides (much easier than a taller style tote). A little extra light gets to the roots with the yellow tops...A dark color 30 gallon sterlite container tends to work better. ...the manifold looks well thought out...
