  • I love not only that he loves his daughter so much but also that he's so verbal with it. It matters if a dad loves his little gir but lwhat matters just as much, if not more is if he tells her constantly. I don't even know what to say other than more dads should have this mentality. He doesn't treat women like weak saps. Yes a daughter needs to learn self confidence but she gets that by being told shes beautiful and wonderfully made by God and THAT'S what makes her gorgeous.

  • @jlgtuesday1971 Godly confidence comes from confidence in Jesus.

    Self confidence is pride.

It is also our duty as males to use our lives as a role of leadership to symbolize the relationship of Christ leading the Church. Don't believe me? Ask Paul (Ephesians 5:22-24 and 1 Timothy 2:13-14).

    Peace.

  • @canzo0378 I WISH my dad was SO supportive. Girls adore their dads & my confidence was SHATTERED when my father disappeared, I became wild & 'tough' to cover it up, as "everybody 'loves' a wild girl", when I was in fact self-destructively disturbed.

Mark makes it clear that human girls MUST be respected & loved like humans, it cannot be stressed enough how seriously important fathers are to the self-worth of a female

Do not dismiss this sermon - its a microcosm of this world - a crucial example

  • He treats women like weak saps.A daughter needs to learn self confidence.

  • @lidgerwood He doesn't expect much of women.I hate it when girls are over protected. It can create an atmosphere for lack of confidence.

  • not very sure what's the point of this sermon.... it is nice to share his family story, but what is the exact Biblical message from this??? Little bit too self-absorbed, I would say...

  • @lousyacrobat

I didn't say you couldn't have a family without God.

What I am saying is, you'll all be missing out big-time.
