Not 100% sure bout Patt's but they are very similar to GE's where their high ignition and augmentor ignition is powered by your AC Generator on the engine. Therefore, you would have to run it in burner to ops check it. The low side is the only one that can be fired without running because it's power is DC from the aircraft.
dude you have no idea what you are talking about. there is no such thing as an afterburner ignitition test while the engine is running. you can test ignition while the engine is static (not running) and it is just a small bule spark deep in the AB not a big blue flame.
U obviously have no clue. It is a stall. Stall's normally occur when in transition for Mil to Aug and vise versa. Very common on the older Pratt's and GE's. An Aug igntion test would not blow out like that. If that really was an Aug check, then I would tell you that that bitch is faulty as hell.

nothing worst than two mechanics arguing with each other, lol
yeah, the Aug, and the GEs and the 110 after that, it could be the 12.11 b, not the 12.11 c... -_-

that is not a stall. a compressor stalls at low rpm, and flames dont come out the back. that was more like a afterburner ignition test
