  • does anyone know the recording??

  • @jgmusic526 -Hi just spotted your comment! The recording I used was of a section of "Hamp's Boogie". However although I did clear copyright (as I did on all my stuff for TV) on both recording artist and recording label I'm afraid that I cannot remember their names - as I did this way back in the 1970's -sorry! Sheila Graber

  • I am so glad this came up as a recommended video I just LOVE it.

I'm not the greatest with technology, but I was surprised to read in the comments that you did this without the aid of a computer. It is a wonderful concept so, surely, it would have made for a cool video either way - but this must have been a true labor of love for you!

Thank You, so much, for sharing it.

  • Thanks- if computers had been aroun when I made this I would have used them..however I knew no different so was quite happy painting. Loved your cllection of painterlyy Videos on your very lively site.

  • This is so cute!!!

  • beautiful! this is great, and I will probably use with elementary art students!!!

  • Wonderful film that feels very nostalgic to me, as I strongly remember seeing it many times on TV during my childhood (Quebec, Canada in the 80's). Of course it's what introduced me to Mondrian's artwork, which I've always been attracted to ever since.

Thank you very much for sharing this here!

  • Fantastic!

  • I appreciate that you took the time to check out my channel. The goal is to, sooner or later, make & post videos of my own - nothing fancy, simply to show my creative adventures.

In the mean time, I've been enjoying the mini-masterpieces of others. Today I discovered the 'Mondrian for All' video & was pleased to add it for the insight into the original. Knowing the thought process behind the music takes both Mondrian's art, & your's, to a whole new level.
