I've got two of these babies! When I was a kid me and my best friend would build a space ship around the tv and play star raiders . Was such an advanced game at the time, 3d starfields!

what goes around comes around, the iphone and ipad also have non-tactile keyboards, typing isn't much easier on them than on the atari 400. It was my first computer back in the early 80s.

@cmcdanie90 haha, to copy games all you had to do was record tape to tape, with the volumes matching exactly!

my 1st computer, then got a commodore 64! big difference, holy crap!
Isn't it ugly! even for those days! funny how it was a touch sensitive pad, not a regular keyboard.

I got an atari 2600 in 1982 when I was 7 . My friend told me about the atari 400 last week and I never heard of it . Imagine videogames in 2050. The graphics are gonna be sick!!!I'll be 75 then If I live that long , thank god I quit drinking and smoking.....

it's AMAZING to me both, how far technology has come over my lifetime (I was born on 9-5-1985) & how much I take it for granted every day. I'm laying here, on my bed w/ a Powerful Toshiba Satellite Laptop Computer on my chest, typing a youtube comment, while my Blackberry Curve 3330 PDA Phone Vibrates in my left pocket, with the 1995 film Hackers airing on my Sanyo 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV cuz I have Verizon Fios & 'Hackers' is Airing on one of the Premium movie channels like Starz, HBO, etc)
