Rare footage of Bruiser Brody in the 1980's doing the closest thing you'll probably find to a "shoot" interview in those days

  • That's a fabulous interview. I watched all 3 parts. Mind you this is a little before or just as wrestlers were admitting it is scripted. Brody really gave excellent answers to rather complex questions in this interview. It's terrible what happened to him. Just terrible.

I loved this interview. I only ever saw Brody in character where he's rough and wild. Thank you FLICK510 for posting this.

  • Puerto Rican wrestling has never been the same since they let that bitch walk that stabbed and murdered Brody. Can you blame American wrestlers not wanting to go over there and wrestle after Brody is killed in front of witnesses?

  • Just a tragedy that this man isnt around today. I can't even imagine what the industry would be like.

  • Thank you for posting these amazing clips. What a gift. That moment when Apter asks about what it might be like when he's 60 or 70 is kind of heartbreaking.

  • Frank Goodish, aka "Bruiser Brody" was a man wise beyond his years and certainly a man ahead of his time. I wish I had been old enough to appreciate him when he was still alive. He lives now through video footage, written text and accounts of other wrestlers. Pro Wrestling could use a man like him today.

  • @genericgeorge 1987 or 1988

  • fate did not take a good course for him

  • @Tecate73 Thats cool. I know how it is. People on the internet how they act in all. Your cool!

  • @JimScythe My apologies. I don't know how I clicked your name and not sewplex. He was the one who called him a dick.

  • @Tecate73 I did not call him a dick. Where did you get that? He was awsome in and out of the ring.

  • @JimScythe I don't know why you said he is a dick. I am glad that he did this interview and have a whole new respect for him.
