Sony Acid Pro 7 not saving recordings and wav files disappearing with Kaspersky Internet Security

Sony Acid Pro 7 and a compatibility problem with Kaspersky. Apparently when Kaspersky's live protection is enabled, .wav files will not save.

One thing i havent done is allowed an acception rule for Kaspersky. That may infact work.

But hopefully if you encounter this problem (many people have), this video should prove to be helpful.

Yeah, im not sure why the hell it does that. Im thinking Kaspersky (for some odd reason) scans the audio files that are being recorded. Occasionally ill see a volume slider for Kaspersky in the windows mixer window ( from clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar)... Weirdest thing i've ever seen.

Thanks man. Sorry for the late response and all....

When i first hit the blogs, it was amazing how many people i became in contact with in the first 24 hours with the same problem. It's def a prob with KASPERSKY trying to check the sound file for some reason. Sometimes (rarely) you might see a volume bar for kaspersky within windows sound properties.

I dunno i never had any emails back about it but, it's definitely the cause.

Other than that Kaspersky has always been great.

hey, i have my keyboard plugged in into my laptop. i can record and everything...i just don't know how to hear what i'm playing while i'm recording. what do i need to do? or what do i need? please help :/
