First Forecast (June 1, 2009)

On June 1, 2009 I opened the show on the first day of the new hurricane season. It had been a hot but otherwise pretty day in Tallahassee. I open with a look at the live tower cam and provide a teaser of what is to come later in the program including the fact that hurricane season has begun. Note how make remarks about the heat as our main weather factor but am clear that it is only relative to what we can expect later in the season. I also connect with the audience that a gorgeous day is good for outdoor activities.
