I actually know Karl and have played plenty of shows with Freya. He may be soft spoken and a quiet good guy but his friends are assholes. I watched one of his friends hit another guy in the face with a skateboard then the dude realized he made a huge mistake when the guy didn't flinch and proceeded to beat the living fuck out of him.

What Karl is saying about drugs....is heavy I respect him very much! The music and band helped me for years....2001-2 when they broke up, but they back now and maybe I can get that strength back to stay off the "Hard shit" not preaching and taking is nice to hear.....

To those asking when animal rights/vegetarianism became attached to sXe, your answer is the band Youth of Today. The specific song is "no more". Ray Cappo was inspired to become a vegetarian both because of his new Hare Krishna beliefs and because he found out Ian Mackaye was vegetarian and wanted to emulate his role model. Since then a lot of sXe bands and kids have been vegetarian.
